Neubercart LTS Updates Server Module Usage

Neubercart LTS is a fork of Drupal 7 / Ubercart 3 (D7U3) providing long-term support and machine-to-machine code updates.

This page provides Installation, Configuration, Usage and Support instructions for administrators.

Once installed, your site will connect to the Neubercart LTS update service to receive long-term support patches.

Installation

Download and place the Neubercart LTS Updates Server module into your Drupal 7 site's sites/all/modules/ directory.
Enable the module via Drupal's admin interface:
- Navigate to Administration » Modules
- Locate Neubercart LTS Updates Server
- Check the box and click Save configuration
Clear caches to ensure Drupal recognizes the new update server:
```
drush cc all
```
or use the Performance page in the admin UI:
```
Administration » Configuration » Development » Performance
        
```
Verify the update source in the Status Report:
- Navigate to Administration » Reports » Status report
- Look near the bottom for an entry that looks like this:

Update Source                      updates.neubercart.com
Neubercart LTS update server
```

After enabling, the module registers Neubercart LTS as an update source.
Your site will periodically connect to the LTS Updates Server to check for new releases of supported projects.

To verify connectivity, go to:

Administration » Reports » Available updates

Confirm that Neubercart LTS projects are listed with update status.
If your server cannot connect, ensure outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests are allowed and that PHP supports cURL or stream wrappers.

Neubercart LTS ensures critical fixes and long-term support patches remain available beyond Drupal 7's official EOL.
Once installed, updates appear in Drupal's standard update report.
Apply updates as you would with any Drupal module:
- Download the new release
- Replace the module code
- Run database updates:

drush updb
```
  or use the GUI to update the system
